Introduction of First Aid Simulation Exercise

First Aid Emergency Simulation Exercise (FAESE) will consist of simulations of potential emergencies that may be faced by the requested establishment, and how to respond to such situations with available means.

During the simulation, several emergency situations with mock causalities will be simulated enabling staff to assess and respond to the emergency. This will include providing First Aid to casualties, evacuation using available vehicles, stretchers and manpower. A report with recommendations will be provided to the establishment after the training, indicating weaknesses and strengths of the organization.

This simulation is aimed at: (a) checking readiness of the establishment for a First Aid emergency; (b) refresh First Aid skills of staff; (c) assessing existing capacity of the staff for a First Aid emergency.

The simulation exercise will be approximately 06 hours (1 day)
