Introducing Basic Life Support (BLS) Training

At ThinkSAFE, our mission has always been to provide high-quality, practical, and reliable first aid training for individuals and organizations across the Maldives. In response to recent government requirements for resorts to ensure that at least 80% of their staff are trained in first aid, we have introduced a new Basic Life Support (BLS) Training program.

Why BLS Training?

While our comprehensive first aid programs remain available, we recognize the growing need for a shorter, more accessible option that still meets regulatory standards. The BLS training has been designed to cover the essential life-saving skills every staff member should know, without requiring a full-day course.

Course Highlights

  • Duration: 5 hours
  • Focus: Core life-saving techniques, including CPR and AED use
  • Compliance: Fully aligned with government requirements for first aid readiness in resorts
  • Accessibility: Practical, efficient, and suitable for large groups of staff

Cost-Effective Without Compromise

One of the key benefits of this program is its affordability. Because the course is shorter, the cost per staff member is lower compared with our other training options. This makes it easier for resorts to train a large portion of their team while keeping costs under control.

At the same time, our commitment to quality has not changed. Every BLS training session is delivered with the same high standards of instruction, hands-on practice, and professional guidance that ThinkSAFE is known for.

Supporting Safer Workplaces

Resorts are environments where the health and safety of both staff and guests are critical. By offering BLS training, we aim to help organizations build confidence among their teams and ensure they are prepared to respond effectively to emergencies.

ThinkSAFE remains dedicated to raising the standard of first aid training in the Maldives, and we are proud to support resorts in meeting their legal obligations while fostering safer workplaces.
