01A – First Aid Awareness Session (2 hours) – FREE of charge

For organizations wanting to provide first aid awareness to their staff/ associates or community members. The session could be conducted for a minimum of 20 (maximum could be any number) people at a time and will cover: the importance of First Aid; CPR techniques; severe bleeding control; and management of unconscious casualties. This session is valid only for: organizations that have not previously conducted any training/session; or along with other first aid training sessions. Session cost is covered under our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget. 

01B – First Aid refresher session (3 hours) – MVR 6,980.00 (US$ 453)

All First Aid certificates should be refreshed annually for it to be valid after one year. Therefore, these sessions are for participants who already possess a First Aid certificate. The session would cover: Cardiopulmonary Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – practical; severe bleeding control; management of unconscious casualty; and any First Aid update that occurred during the year (according to British standards of First Aid). If more than 20 are participating (maximum 40) each extra participant will be charged at MVR 249/-.

01C – Automatic External Defibrillator training (3 hours) – MVR 11,980.00 (US$ 777)

AED is becoming more common in the Maldives and this training will provide participants with hands-on experience in how to operate an AED to save lives. This session will also include modules on human anatomy and a lot of practice. If more than 14 are participating (maximum 24) each extra participant will be charged at MVR 599/-. (Note: AEDs could be purchased through us if required.) 

01D – Basic First Aid training (7 hours) – MVR 8,784.00 (US$ 570)

This training is aimed at people who need basic information on First Aid and also a sufficient level of hands-on experience in providing first aid in real-life situations. The training will cover most of the common First Aid tropics and will provide sufficient practice while concentrating on CPR, severe bleeding control, management of unconscious causalities, and some medical conditions. If more than 14 are participating (maximum 24) each extra participant will be charged at MVR 549/-. 

01E – Standard First Aid training (21 hours) – MVR 19,200.00 (US$ 1,246)

The training aims to prepare participants for real-life emergencies and is suitable for staff that are required to provide First Aid as part of their job (such as lifeguards). The training will be a balance of First Aid skills and theoretical sessions. The objective of the training will be to ensure that participants who receive certificates are able to provide First Aid to casualties without hesitation in contrast to training courses that only provide theoretical sessions with minimum practice. If more than 14 are participating (maximum 24) each extra participant will be charged at MVR 960/-. 

01F – CPR training (2.5 hours) – MVR 6,980.00 (US$ 453)

This Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training is aimed at the general public and employees wanting to learn CPR techniques. The training will be essential for people dealing with children (mothers/ daycare center staff etc.). The sessions will cover: how to manage an unconscious casualty; adult CPR; child CPR; infant CPR; management of choking adult, child, and infant; and how to prevent, recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies. 01G – Basic First Aid with AED training (9 hrs/ 2 days) – MVR 13,760.00 (US$ 893)

This 9 hours training will combine Basic First Aid and Automatic External Defibrillator training. If your establishment has an AED, this would be the most cost-effective way to ensure that all staffs are able to use AED in an emergency and know required first aid skills to save lives. If more than 14 are participating (maximum 24) each extra participant will be charged. (Note: AEDs could be purchased through us if required.) 

01H – Standard First Aid with AED training (24 hours) – MVR 23,960.00 (US$ 1,554)

This is the most comprehensive First Aid training currently offered. The training will ensure that the participants are competent in all first aid activities including how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) in real-life emergencies. This is the ideal training for those tasked with saving lives in emergencies and to staff who may be exposed to life-threatening situations during their professional duties. 01J – First Aid Simulation Exercise (6 hours) – MVR 7980.00 (US$ 518)

This simulation is aimed at: (a) checking readiness of the establishment for a First Aid emergency; (b) refresh First Aid skills of staff; (c) assessing the existing capacity of the staff for a First Aid emergency. During the simulation, several emergency situations with mock causalities will be simulated enabling staff to assess and respond to the emergency. This will include providing First Aid to casualties, evacuation using available vehicles, stretchers, and manpower. A report with recommendations will be provided to the establishment after the training, indicating the weaknesses and strengths of the organization.
